Playa del Ingles Beach and Playa de Maspalomas are the most famous beaches in the southern part, and they are part of the Maspalomas Sand Dunes
Other small but cozy beaches are: Playa de Melenara, Playa del Hombre, and Playa de Alcaravaneras, on the eastern coast of the Island
